[...] Now, for the most important resource of all. Relationships are what is going to cause people to buy from you on a continual basis. Tell their friends about you. Go out there and multiply you time significantly by making the sales pitches for you. This is what I want to build over the long-term. If only on a super-ficial level. Clearly there is not enough time to have a meaningful relationship with enough people to have a consistantly profitable business in the realm of Board Game Publishing.
Very interesting question Laurie. As far as getting into the "BIG" manufacturers, I would assume that any contract with them basically gives them the rights to derivative works and works in other mediums, which would include your game show. I know my contracts operate in that manner.nnOf course, you could do it yourself... But then you are going to be spending $$$ and working on something that you may not be inclined to work on.

I just pitched a T.V. game show to a top agent at CAA. He said my idea was innovative, brilliant, fun and interesting. He said he could sell it. 1 week later he said make it a board game first to protect your property(my show can easily go international.)it will be that much easier to sell. How hard is it to just go for the "BIG" Manufacturing companies? I have been working on this for 4 years. It's a(Texas Hold Em') poker hybrid game. Where do I go first?<br>Laurie
